The building of the Faculty of Medicine of Comenius University at the corner of Sasinkova Street and Odborárské Square is the result of the work of the well-known architect Klement Šilinger, who designed it in the unique style of rondocubism. The building was constructed in 1925-1927 and is characterised by its asymmetrical plan and complex facades, which reflect its functional use. Among the most striking architectural features are the glazed half-cylinders that host the autopsy rooms and the auditorium with terraces, emphasizing its unique status and practicality. This architectural gem not only still fulfils its educational function today, but also enriches the cultural heritage of Bratislava.
